There are two types of mailing lists available:

  • A mailing list of chapter members in Virginia. This list may be purchased by sending an email to VPTA@VPTA.org The cost is $300.
    (Sorry – we cannot release emails. Only USPS mailing addresses.)
     
  • A mailing list of all licensees from the Virginia Dept of Health Professions. That list can be purchased online here.

The Virginian is distributed to over 3,000 member every even month!

Pricing is based on size:

Rectangle Ads (Only 4 spots available)

  • $75 / issue
  • $400 / 6 issues

Sponsored Content (Only 2 spots available)

  • $150 / issue
  • $800 / 6 issues
  • Image/Logo must be 300 x 250 px JPEG or PNG file
  • Advertiser supplies URL ad should link to.
  • No animation
  • No contact info included
  • Image/Logo must be 180 x 150 px
  • Image/Logo format must be JPEG or .PNG file, @72 dpi, RGB
  • No animation
  • No contact info included
  • Image cannot be treated as a regular banner ad
  • Headline: Advertiser supplies 5-7 words
  • Summary text: Advertiser supplies 50-70 words
  • Headline/Summary text must be plain text and cannot contain HTML or odd characters.
  • Call to Action text: Advertiser supplies text (e.g. Click Here, Read More)
  • Advertiser supplies URL ad should link to.

  • $70/4 month posting: 2 posts per month on Facebook and Twitter, including any photos, videos and links provided by sponsor. This original (aka not 'Shared' from sponsor) content is completely dedicated to featuring the sponsor's product or service. Posts will be specifically scheduled 1 week and 1 month prior to registration deadline.
  • $40/2 month posting: 2 posts per month on Facebook and Twitter, including any photos, videos and links provided by sponsor. This original (aka not 'Shared' from sponsor) content is completely dedicated to featuring the sponsor's product or service. Posts will be specifically scheduled 1 week and 1 month prior to registration deadline.
  • $10/1 post: 1 dedicated upload to both Social Media platforms for sponsor's event. This may be original content or Shared from the host's page.

For images to be submitted for social media, please see size/formatting requirements below. Please note, if you do not provide the appropriate sizing/format, your image or video may appear distorted or cut off when posted to our various social media outlets.
All images submitted should be saved as a PNG file in order for the best quality. JPEG images are also permitted, but may not produce the best quality. There are various resources on the web about how to convert to various formats for pictures.

  • Size requirements for optimal Facebook advertising:
    • Facebook Post (single photo) - 940px x 788px<
    • Facebook Event Cover - 810px x 450px
    • Facebook Ad (photo with attached link) - 1200px x 628px
    • Size requirements for optimal Twitter advertising:
      • Twitter post - 1024px x 512px
    • Videos to be posted:
      • Uploaded to Youtube.com and link to be provided to APTA Virginia
      • Or MP4 or MOV format videos are best and may be sent directly to APTA Virginia

>APTA Virginia will not post job opportunities to social media. If you'd like to advertise a job opportunity, please do so through our career center.
