APTA Virginia is the only statewide organization dedicated to advocacy and education for physical therapy professionals in Virginia. Founded as the Virginia Physical Therapy Association, we are a component of the American Physical Therapy Association committed to building a community that advances the profession and improves the health of society.

Our member base includes physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, students, and retirees. We empower members to lead in health care, influence the direction of the profession, and act as a strong collective force for improving the human experience.
