Course Description: OThe CARES Clinic at VCU is a pro bono physical therapy clinic serving the Greater Richmond, Virginia area. Our free clinic is run by student volunteers in Virginia Commonwealth University’s doctor of physical therapy program under the supervision of licensed physical therapists as part of a lasting educational partnership between the school and the community. In this session at the Fall Summit, we will talk more about the CARES Clinic, what it's like to run the clinic as students, what starting a pro bono clinic looks like and connecting with other students, educators, and physical therapists.
