Central District's first fall event will take place on Thursday, September 12th at Sheltering Arms Reynolds (6627 W. Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23230) starting at 6pm. 

 

We are excited to welcome Bethany Russell, PT, DPT, GRS, as she will be presenting on peripheral neuropathy treatment considerations. Bethany says, "Peripheral neuropathy is a highly prevalent disorder associated with gait instability and increased fall risk. The nature of the diagnosis presents a delicate challenge to rehabilitation providers in maintaining safety while avoiding the weighty detriments of underdosing movement based interventions. This presentation will review evidence based physical therapy interventions to improve gait, balance, and quality of life for people with peripheral neuropathy."
