Award Spotlight: Physical Therapist Assistant Award


The Physical Therapist Assistant Award was proposed by the APTA Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant Special Interest Group (PTASIG), and the first award was presented to a physical therapist assistant at the APTA Virginia Annual Conference in April of 1992.
Purpose:
The Physical Therapist Assistant Award honors physical therapist assistants who have made an outstanding contribution to clinical practice and development through participation in APTA Virginia.
Eligibility:
APTA Virginia PTA members not currently serving on the Board of Directors or the Awards Committee.
Selection Process:
Nominations must be submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair by February 1. The Awards Committee will make the final selection with the approval of the Board of Directors.
Submit a Nomination:
Nominations must be submitted by February 1 to be considered.
