Pediatric SIG Year-in-Review
The Pediatric SIG had a fantastic 2023! We moved our PSIG Cafés to APTA Virginia's platform of Virginia is for Learners and hosted several Type 1 and Type 2 CEU courses. Here are our Cafés from 2023:
- January 17th: Children's Assistive Technology Services by Melissa Rose, PT, DPT, C/NDT, Clinical Director for C.A.T.S.
- April 4th: "Tone" and How We Manage It by Dr. Kelly Pham
- May 16th: “Learn the Signs. Act Early.”: Updates and Implications for Physical Therapists for updated CDC developmental surveillance guidelines by Kari Kretch, PhD, PT, DPT
- September 19th: APTA Virginia Pediatric SIG Group Journal Club and Networking Meeting facilitated by Connie Johnson PT, DScPT & Nicole Jacobs, PT, DPT ('A four month squatting-based pelvic exercise regime cures day/night enuresis and bowel dysfunction in children aged 7-11 years'.)
- October 24th (Annual Meeting): Hip Surveillance and Cerebral Palsy by Dr. Sean Tabaie
