Check out APTA Virginia's New Website!
As 2019 came to a close, many exciting changes were happening with the VPTA! The first, as you may have noticed, was the new name and the new logo! The VPTA is now APTA Virginia. The new logo reflects a unified group of state chapters which helps to unite PTs and PTAs across the country in visibility and advocacy efforts.
The other big happening was the launch of the wonderful new website!
A great new addition to the website is the ability for you to update your own member profile! Simply go to the mainpage and click “LOGIN” in the upper right corner. Once logged in, you can update your directory and contact information, view and register for upcoming events, and even see a history of past events attended! Make sure to take advantage of this new feature so that you don’t miss any news or events coming out of the Virginia Chapter.
And while the look may have changed, the website still has many of the great resources that have always been there:
- The Career Center: View and post jobs, search for possible employees, and review many job & career resources
- The CEU Locker: Members can record their CEU hours in one convenient location & search for approved courses. CEU providers can apply for course approval. Most importantly, you can find information about CEU guidelines for Virginia.
- News & Events: Stay up-to-date with the local, state, and national news and events.
- Member Resources: Members can find resources in this tab covering a variety of topics, as well as copies of the Virginian (our monthly newsletter).
Take some time to click through the new website and take advantage of all it has to offer! And as always, you can follow APTA Virginia on Social Media to stay even more connected!
